Rishi Shloka Institute ("we", "us", "our") uses the Tiwaar Academy platform to manage courses, students, payments, live scheduling, and video conferencing. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our academy.

Account information: Name, email address, and authentication details when you register via email/password or Google/Microsoft single sign-on.

Enrollment data: Course enrollments, batch assignments, progress, homework submissions, and payment status.

Live class data: When you join a live class (via Tiwaar Web Conference, Zoom, or an external link), your audio/video stream, display name, and chat messages are processed. Class recordings may be stored and made available to enrolled students.

Payment data: We do not store full credit card numbers. Payments are processed by Stripe, Razorpay, or collected manually. We store transaction metadata for record-keeping.

Usage data: IP address, browser type, device information, and interaction logs for security and analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain your access to courses, live classes, and recordings
• To authenticate you and manage your membership
• To process payments through Stripe, Razorpay, or manual payment methods
• To send notifications about courses, sessions, and account activity
• To detect and prevent fraud and security issues

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Information is shared only with payment processors (Stripe, Razorpay), live class providers (Zoom, LiveKit), service providers who help operate the platform, and legal authorities when required by law.

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest. Our platform is provided by Tiwaar Academy, a subsidiary of Tiwaar Inc., which maintains SOC 2 compliant infrastructure with row-level security for tenant isolation.

6. Children's Privacy

Parents or guardians manage accounts for minor students. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without parental consent. Live class recordings of minors are visible only to enrolled students and academy staff.
